Hot spring bath "Lake Yamanaka Fuji-no-yu Onsen"

After basking in the lush green natural setting, melt away your cares and fatigue in a hot springs bath complete with sauna.

With mighty Mt. Fuji in the background, and wrapped in natural splendor, this is one of Japan's premier highland resorts. Spend quality time here at the lovely lake spots, sightseeing, hiking or savoring other pleasures.

Lake Yamanaka, with its crystalline waters, lies at the foot of beautiful Mt. Fuji. This is the largest of the Fuji Five Lakes, where the distinctive highlands climate has earned a solid following as a summer retreat from days of old. Yamanaka is also famed as "Swan Lake," with these regal white birds providing a thrilling sight on the waters throughout the year. Nestled in such a rich emerald environment, this is also a popular location for vacation homes and guesthouse villages, while the lakeside zone offers many shops, restaurants and sightseeing attractions. For recreation, visitors may choose from a wide range of sports facilities and lessons, while fishing and excursion boats are also sources of fun and relaxation. In recent years, the Lake Yamanaka Flower Capital Gardens were opened in the pastoral rural district on the northwest shore, while a number of museums of art, literature and other genres have located with the focus on the south shore. This further adds to the culture of this highland resort, bolstering the stimulation and enjoyment here.
