Mt. Daisen is a renowned peak, known locally as the "Mt. Fuji of Tottori Prefecture" for its striking resemblance to Japan's most famous symbol. Played out on the highlands stage, stretching out grandly from the base of the mountain, is the timeless inspiration of the four seasons as they come and go.

This breathtaking backdrop, teeming with spectacular natural scenery and a majestic sense of history, dramatically accentuates this refined highland resort. The hotel vicinity is dotted with spots certain to impress the history buff - Daisenji Temple, Amida Hall, Daisen Shrine and other settings of legend and lore. Family oriented attractions include Daisen Equestrian Center, Mori-no-Kuni Daisen Field Athletic Grounds and other wonderful facilities. For museums, the Shoji Ueda Museum of Photography lies close by, while a little extra time and effort will lead you to the Adachi Museum of Art, the Tiffany Fine Arts Museum in Matsue and other venues with stimulating exhibits. There is also excellent golfing in the immediate area, together with skiing slopes and other outstanding opportunities for sports and recreation. And make it a point to visit the hotel restaurants - sophisticated dining sites specializing in menus packed with the bountiful natural delights harvested from the Mt. Daisen environs.
